Storage length

I know that storing in a fridge is great, but in all my searches i havent found how long they can last in there. So how long bufore they start to degrade in the fridge?

It depends on how you store them, the humidity and temp of your fridge, properties of fruit body, etc.. It's important to allow them to breath (evaporate moisture) or they'll rot more quickly. Think of it as trying to lenthen out the drying process in a cold environment.

In general, they'll last up to a week. Depends on how carefully you store them.

I have heard of syringes lasting a couple of years but 1 year seems to be the general concensus.
I keep mine in a cardboard box in the bottom of the fridge.
