mantras - sound invocations that the student uses to harmonise his body and centers with the finer forces in Nature and man.
mmm sounds good, anyone here use mantras?
if so, do you use some well known mantra or some secret words?
what does it feel like to harmonise your body and centers with the finer forces in Nature and man?
ever tried it whilst shrooming?

Here is a personal favorite of mine. Repeating this over and over helps me to keep my crown chakra in intimate contact with my base or root chakra (a yogic position for which I am justly famous)!

OWAH

TAGEE (hard 'g' sound)

KYAM (pronouce the 'y' as in 'sky')

OWAH TAGEE KYAM... OWAH TAGEE KYAM...

Try it, and see if it doesn't open up your third nostril.

I like the idea behind mantra's although I've never practised them, maybe I should.

the mantra generating tech in leshan's book _how to meditate_ will evoke the "relaxation response", but used traditional sacred seed syllables may impart some baraka to the practice, non?
