1.What temp and humidity should I keep my brf cakes?

2.I just inoculated my jars, would it be bad if I put them in a cabinet in my kitchen? Or do they need light?

3.My subsrate was a little warmer then room temp after sterilization, is that harmful to the spores I injected?

Any help would be appriciated.

1. between 95 and 100 percent is good it could even drop between 90 and 100..

2. you want to keep them as dark as possible the whole time they are colonizing, it's not necessarily good to have light shine on your jars, it won't particularly do extreme harm, but darkness until you birth them is generally best.

3. depends on how much warmer it was than room temp, a couple degrees over is no biggy, but let the jars sit for a couple of days and see what grows.. then you'll know if any harm has been done.
