Splitting Caps??

Help!! Recently it seems I cannot help my shroomies avoid growing pains. Their caps all seem to split before their veil breaks. What am I doing wrong?? I am currently working with a sample of mexi cubes, but I have had the same problem when experimenting with EQ's. Any help would be appretiated. thanks

sounds like they're drying out a little, make a note of what the humidity is in your terrarium, or if you can't make a note of it, get a temp/humidity gauge or something so you can monitor and maintain a high/constant humidity.

Sorry I forgot to add that tidbit of info...the humidity ranges between 90-92, ocassionally dropping to 88. Is it still the humidity??
