Ok, if this has been asked a million times on this forum I apologize. Anyhow, I want a good purge to get all the crap out of my system. Anyone know of a good natural purge. Not looking for jage or anything like that. Something that I can get at health food store or somewhere like that. Thanks for suggestions.

How about the ones that aren't. I'm simply not getting off on shrooms anymore and I'm taking at least a month off from them but I'd like to get a good cleansing. I've heard of herbal teas and stuff that will cleans out toxins but I'm not sure exactly what to use.

Dude by far the best way is with a 3 day fast Spend the next couple days eating fruits and lite veggies then the last 12 hours drinking lots a juice Then survive 36 hours with nothing but very very small amounts of water during the first 48 hours followed with the last 24 hours drinking lots o water Then start eating the same way as you did when you started It takes dog balls to pull it off But well worth it When your armpits start stinking VERY BAD and your breath stinks like cat shit Then you know for sure the toxins are escaping But the very purest way to purge the body is a very long fast 7-10 days Only that should only be attempted with some experience with shorter fasts and much study

Cool. I fast a few times a year for short periods (like a day). That always makes me feel good. I'm sure a longer one will work. I'm going to do it this weekend. Thanks fucknuckle. Excellent advice.

I've been trying to cleanse my system a little. Look into herbal teas and juuuiice. Juice is yummy, readily available, and it's just damn good. People in general should cut the soda and start drinking fruit juuuuice.

Fasting has no scientific evidence for cleansing the body of "toxins". The liver detoxifies harmful ones in your body, and there is nothing a fast will do help this process. Placebo effect 100%.

I've been doing a little reading up on the net this evening. Seems like green tea gets thumbs up for purging liver toxins. Also fruit juices are recommended. Seems to me a fast along the lines fucknuckle suggested would help purge out some bad stuff. Maybe taking some herbal laxatives of some type to flush out the gut too. Supposedly you can sweat out a bunch of shit too by sitting in a sauna.

Hundreds of books stating something different
My own experience with flushing toxins and the after effects means nothing

Placebo effect. LOL

Dude he does not have a clue The fact is that a long fast requires the body to feed off itself and the first thing it eats is anything not needed. I.E. stored stuff as in the bad stuff you have collected over the years. Take the word of a very experienced person who has Fasted Many times Not the word of someone who has never studied or done it for that matter Because if he had done any real study of the subject besides some reading in a muscle mag he would now how wrong he is. Humanity has know the positive effect of fasting for thousands of years

Fasting isn't bull shit... I'm not big on it, but I've gone to the point where I felt weak and disheveled, further, further, further... felt reborn. You'll notice a world of difference, and it's definitely not a placebo.

Fasting, when done properly, can be very invigorating to body and spirit. Read up on it, and prepare for it. Start by eating no meat, or at least a whole lot less. If you smoke, stop. This includes weed. No poisons. Eat only natural food for a week previous to the fast. That means only uncooked fruits, veggies, not-from-concentrate fruit juice and water. No milk or cheese either. Meditate and pray if you are inclined to do so. A good fast should be mentally prepared for as well, just like a good trip. Know what you wish to accomplish, and focus on it completely. Submerge yourself inside yourself. You will learn a lot about yourself. This is only my opinion, so please do what you feel is natural to you. You will find what you are looking for, and probably a lot more.

Fasting can be an effective way to, in a sense, 'reset' a lot of your body's equilibriums, though a lot of the time it's unnecessary and can be unhealthy. But this whole west coast notion of cleansing the 'toxins' out of your body is bullshit. Your liver, and only your liver, can remove toxins from your body. Reducing the amount of crap in your body by not adding any for a little while - or a long while - is a bit different. But you don't need to fast (or drink tea (?!?!?)). Just spend a month exercising daily, eating very healthy food throughout the day, and drinking lots of water. You'll feel much better by doing that than by straining your physiological needs.

I agree, healthy living is a much better alternative than just fasting from time to time. For me fasting is more of a spiritual thing than a physical one, and is mainly symbolic. I try to be as healthy as possible. I am currently vegetarian, and for New Year's I am going to try going vegan.

Alright a while back I was on some colon cleanser thing, and literally it made me shit out all the impurities I had. Biggest shits ever. And it works too. Im sorry I cant tell you what I drank as I do not remember, but just got to a local health foods store and tell then what you want and youll get more than you asked for. Its a great way to cleanse yourself.
