Why the hell have all companies that offer technical support(computer hardware manufacturers, software manufacturers, consumer electronics manufacturers, etc....) moved all of their operations overseas? EVERY time I call an 800 number about a product that I have a question about or that I have a problem with I get a foreigner(usually an Indian). I cannot understand what they are saying and they can't understand what I am saying. I end up getting nowhere and then I just hang up. I then go to the company's web site and it takes an HOUR of going through pages to find the area where I can send an e-mail to technical support. And oftentimes I get a fucking computer generated response that attempts to answer my question based on keywords I used, and of course it has absolutely nothing to do with what I wanted.

there was some great articles somewhere about this on some local-type station,it's just sooooo much cheaper to hire those people ,they work for like almost nothing ,so much so that it actually saves the big companies money to move over ther, build building set up all the shit......crazy is'nt it....

It may save money...but why the hell is it a good idea to farm out technical support to people who barely speak English???

"...as the corporate prick carefully positions himself behind the customer and proceeds to <thrusting hip motions> service the account! I'm "servicing the account"! Now you know what they mean by "customer service"! The guy who coined the phrase "let the buyer beware" was probably bleeding from the asshole..."
