I have some P. Incarnata growing in my yard. The only problem I have growing them is the Gulfrey(sp?) butterfly lays it's eggs on them. The catapillars then eat all the leaves off!
I know it's supposed to make a sedative tea from the leaves.... if I can only get the leaves to stay on the plant.

I grow it, the red variety; it grows like a weed here.
It makes a nice tea, and dried leaf is a decent smoke, particularly after a joint. It seems to make most people salivate, making it a good treatment for dry mouth. Not to mention of course that the flowers are nice.

They grow wild around here(NC), both incarnata and caerulea. They are exceptional and an excellent aid to any trip. As a smoke it is fantastic.

Maybe next year. They are out of season now, and all the flowers I believe are gone for the year. I know now that next season I will have to gatrher some to share with the shroomerites.

I have P. Caerulea seeds(the one in the pic) up for trade if you're interested. They aren't very hard at all in my experience.
