Where do you get wheat straw?? Try this web site :
www.mushroommagic.com. Pick the supplies link and under grow media you will find wheat straw. Also try a feed store if you don't want to have it shipped to your house. Hope this helped.

you can find it there but it is not shreded as they say it is but it is crushed. You still need to cut it up which is a bitch but its greater than no wheat straw.

But in halloween/thanksgiving season you can get it from walmart for 50 cents a bale but the bales are about enough for 2 half pillow cases and it is crushed into oblivion and is about 3 inches.. perfect perrfect perfect. I saw some there in january but they only had one. Check out www.walmart.com I have been meaning to go there so I havent checked if they have it though.
