pinning problems

alright my cakes have been 100% colonized for over 3 weeks now and still no pins. i tried putting them in the light and still nothing. should i wait it out? could it be the temp? i now have them stored at 80 degrees.

Yup lower that temp. Try giving them a cold shock in the fridge.

drop the temp to 70-75F, stick them in a fridge preferably soaking in a 10:1 h2o2 solution for 12-24 hours, after the dunk rolling them in sterile verm is a big plus (and cover the ends too). then put them back in your growing chamber that is now 70-75 degrees and you should see pins shortly.
