A week ago we took a 4g dose. It was very fun, no cev's all oev's ect...
6 hours after the come down we got greedy and dosed again on about 4g's a pop or so. This trip was very fun yadda yadda, however a week later I still don't care if I ever see another shroom again. I'm still growing these cakes, but I don't seem to care to much about them, like when they pin ect...
The magic is gone, I can feel it growing back though. I bet a month or so from now I'd like to shroom again.

yeah, something about shrooms is your desire to do them usually decreases tremendously after doing them, they are not addictive in the least.

That's not loss of magic!
That's psychological overload and it's quite normal. You have been under so much mushroom-induced stress (tremendous fun is great stress too) that your brain keeps them at bay.
Everybody who listens to their body will feel this after doing whjat you did. If you ignore this signal and keep dosing however the REAL "loss of magic" begins: Then you leave your brain no other option other than to shallow the experience, until you in the end have nothing to show for a high dose then a dance of colors while you do the dishes 
THAT is loss of magic: forcing your brain to turn the Divine Mushroom into a trippy Sesame Street.
You just wait a month or two (or more) and you'll see it will hit you better then before. And don't neglect your grow man! They're depending on you to make em fruit! If you really won't trip again (which i doubt) you can always give them away to a friend.
Complete disinterest in mushrooms after a strong trip: perfectly normal. Please read and vote in The Great Mushroom Poll (at the start of the forum) for more info!

Like the others said, give it time. I was at a point several years back where I was positive I'd never return to the shroom realm again, and here I am again more eager then ever. It's even better then the first time because I know what I'm doing this time.

Yep, I've had that feeling a number of times shortly after tripping.
The time before last was a big one, so I knew I had to wait a while. I didn't wait quite long enough, and did it about 3-4 weeks ago. It wasn't a bad trip or anything, just didn't feel special like it should. Obviously, I won't be trying again until sometime next year.

i would have to disagree with u on no addiction to shrooms.... about 2 years ago i had a large amount of them and ate about 8 OZs to myself over the course of 3 months.... and to add to that i did acid almost every weekend from late spring to early fall this year. now im not sure if i have add depression or skitzofrinic?

Now don't get too excited! I advice you to wait at least one month before dosing again. Two months is better!

For a future reference for myself, id like to know what you felt doing that much did to your body (mentally, and maybe physical).

Read between the lines. The mushrooms obviously weren't the problem. You had (still have?) an abuse problem. You abused the psychedelics, and that can be a bitch when you finally burn out.

I threw away alot of growing equipment after a 5 gram trip. Oh do I regret that. The urge to grow more will hit you, just give it some time
