well, its time to harvest the first grow! I have quite a few mature mushrooms and still pins forming. should i harvest the mature mushrooms and let the pins grow, or should I harvest all at once and re-dunk and roll?

Ive used the search but came up with nothing. And does anyone else find it hard to find exactly what their after using the search?

thanks everyone!

the happy noob

You can go ahead and pick the mature ones before they puke spores all over the place. If they have still-growing shrooms attached to them then you may wanna wait, its your call.

i find my mushrooms grow in "clumps", and sometimes there are fully mature mushrooms and some still growing in the same clump. if that's the case, i just let it grow.

if the clump is pretty much full grown, i'll harvest it with the rest. If you pull a mushroom mature right next to one that's still growing (in the same clump), the immature one may abort, i've had this happen.

spores really aren't anything a clorox wipe can't get rid of.
