-Can brown rice flour purchased from the Bulk Barn be used, or will this flour contain preservatives? If so, I read somewhere that someone tried plain brown rice in theit jars, and it worked... Should I try this?

I've had great luck grinding my own brown rice in a blender.

This isn't an exact science, from what I hear (I have yet to grow any fun guys besides the ones between me toes) the whole grains make the substrate airyer and more porous resulting in a speedy colonization. I wonder how cornmeal would work out?
