Just a thought. Notice how Bush has made himself out to be a really great guy by smiting all the evil doers and what not? What if "God" was really "Satan" and by worshipping him, all his followers went to hell? I mean what kind of all mighty being needs to be worshipped anyways? Sounds kinda pridefull or something to me. haha.

So glad to see you well Overcome and completely silent now With heaven's help You cast your demons out
And not to pull your halo down Around your neck and tug you off your cloud But I'm more than just a little curious How you're planning to go about Making your amends to the dead ...To the dead
Recall the deeds as if they're all Someone else's atrocious stories Now you stand reborn before us all So glad to see you well
And not to pull your halo down Around your neck and tug you to the ground But I'm more than just a little curious How you're planning to go about Making your amends to the dead ...To the dead
With your halo slipping down Your halo's slipping Your halo's slipping down Your halo's slipping down Your halo's slipping down
Your halo's slipping down to choke you now

I think its funny when "light" beings fight and seek to destroy "dark" beings and beleive they are doing "the good work of the lord".
Like if their was an all powerful being it would have to give a rats ass about enemies? Ahahahahaha It would be impossible for it to feel threatened or any fear if it was an all powerful, all knowing, force. Even with free will in play and all individuations of itself being created equal all people are really doing is hating and hurting themselves in others.
How many "innocents" have been killed and injured in the pursuit of one "evil" man -Bin laden who is still alive and well and free?
I want to be a fly on the wall when Bush goes through his post life review.
(Rumor has it, he is on his 5th clone now so I wonder how that works in the afterlife? )
Anyway, many christians hate, reject, resist, ignore, deny, shame, persecute, and punish what is deemed dark and evil and against 'the will of god" . Living in such hate, resistance and condemnation is its own hell right here, right now.
I'm still trying to figure out why a creator would bother giving its creations free will if it had its own will for its creations. peoples explainations for that one crack me up because they can't do it without making such a god sound like a total neurotic case.

While I am at it, why is it that few reason that if a God created life and gave it free will and also had its own will for its creations, why wouldn't its only will be for them to use their free will- Nothing more nothing less all was forgiven end of story?

Well, obviously I am not speaking from the perspective of someone you'd be addressing, but my take on it is this:
I like to think that our free will is "god's" free will--manifested in tiny little increments of illusory seperation.
Our collective will and how we manifest it is god's will. We are god, and god is us. What we each choose individually creates a tiny thread in the collective form of that which is.
My use of "god's will" is more akin to "what is." I see "God's will" as just a way of saying "what is" while clinging to the personification of God.
So, in other words, each of us makes choices in life by our own will. Each of our choices weaves a thread of what makes up a gigantic collective "will".. or in other words, our choices and actions manifest that which is. Or in other words still, our choices and actions manifest the very fabric of space-time.

Sounds to me like you are one of the few who reasoned through it that way too! I don't mean few on this board, I mean relative to the worlds population.

My favorite part about holding these views is that it does not conflict with scientific logical thinking. It is deep and hard to follow, but if you grasp it you can see that it is literally a bridge between that which is confusing and vague and that which is literal, logical, and graspable to someone with a scientific mind. Edit: Or, in other words, (And to touch upon another recent thread's subject...) it reveals two apparently very seperate concepts to be one and the same.

I think not all of 'em will go to a hell realm. There is probably a Christian paradasical realm. The Kingdom of Archetypes (which is perpendicular to ego awareness for humans and sentient aliens) of the 4th dimension has very wise beings that remind us that heavens and hells created for souls are based on belief systems and how one navigates their afterlife. You are the ultimate judge AND the accused at death -- there's no pearly white gates to negotiate your way in. The Life Review for most humans will be far from pleasant though.
Archetype is just a fancy word for Spiritual Goal and not all entities of the higher dimensions were previously human. So, not all Peaceful and Wrathful gods you encounter will necessarily look human at all. In the Imaginal Realm: Believe you can, believe you can't... either way, you're right.
It's kind of the same when we dream and astral travel.
__ Raelians from around the world file a lawsuit against the Vatican for crimes against humanity.
VATICAN : After the lawsuits for pedophilia, a lawsuit for CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY? Geneva, November 18th, 2004
It is irrefutable that the Vatican, represented by the Pope Jean-Paul II, contributes to the proliferation of the HIV virus (AIDS) on all the planet: by asserting that condoms let the AIDS virus through: December 1, 2003 - declaration of the cardinal Alfonso Lopez Trujillo, President of the Pontifical Council for the family; by prohibiting the use of condoms to its faithful. In 1995, in Kenya, Catholic and Moslem authorities burned condoms publicly; In 1996, Jean-Marie Untaomi Comparo?, archbishop of Ouagadougou in Burkina-Faso, launched the slogan: "to fight AIDS, let us first fight against the condom, because it prevents one from having a global conception of the sexual intercourse as sign of love and of life!"
In spite of the international pressure, the Vatican still did not correct the criminal statements that were made and the number of people infected by AIDS increases each day. Currently, more than 8 000 people (a youth every 14 seconds) are contaminated each day by the AIDS virus.
In front of the Vatican?s silence, several tens of people, in particular in Africa, lodge a complaint against the Pope, with the International Penal Court of the Hague, for Crime against Humanity. The Raelian Movement supports this courageous action and denounces, also, these untrue allegations, which take part in the proliferation of a disease that continues to cause the death of thousands of victims, obeying criminal and guilty precepts. After the sexual abuse of pedophiles, can we let one of the largest sects in the world encourage the expansion of the AIDS pandemic?
Raelians support the complaint lodged with the International Court of the Hague against the Pope, for Crime against Humanity. An important file of testimonies and incriminating elements were gathered. This file will join the complaint deposited with the International Penal Court of the Hague, by the plaintifs.
______________ Claude Rael ( www.rael.org ) has just named Bill Gates "Honorary Priest" of the International Raelian Movement (also known as "Guides"). Mr. Gates has just arranged to give yet another $3 billion to charitable trusts which are promoting greater equality in global health and learning.
It is also no surprise that so many of the richest people on earth realize that education is the key to helping the poor help themselves. Charities which only feed the poor only perpetuate this sad situation but giving them access to education will solve it. Education and basic health should be the rights of all peoples.
