Wow-What an amazing year this has been...seems like every time I left my house and walked down a new block I'd find at least one more patch of cyans!!

In previous years I've always asumed that the first frost killed them off, but just yesterday I found three seperate, totally healthy patches of baby Cyans.  I'm wondering now if previous years I've been to quick to give up...lol.

I've been lurking about all season, but havn't posted yet so thought I'd say something to let my presence be known.

I'll try and grab some pics of the newest patches I've found and post them for ya'll.

Yes, it really is an amazing year. I've literally been finding new patches EVERY time I go for a walk in a new area. Even people's grassy yards, often with no obvious evidence of wood chips, are yielding nice specimens. This is the first year where I've told myself "OK, I've picked enough". They are definitely more abundant around here this year.

Well, it's not even midnight yet (11:50) and it's 34 degrees outside...there's definately a hard frost on the grass, and icy windshields on the cars...

Yeah this is the third night in a row that everything has frosted over. Some patches are better insulated than others but I don't know how many more cold nights any of them can stand. 2 mornings ago it hailed for 30 minutes, the mushrooms I found had big blue spots of bruising on them from getting hit with pellets, lol.

I think you should acknowledge that feeling as just what it is.. only feelings, not directions. Pick man, pick!

As of this morning...despite the freezing cold of the two previous nights, the two patches I found earlier this week are still alive and kickin, although their growth rate seems much slower then earlier in the season.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to posting, but not to the board. I moved out
to the Great North a couple of months ago thinking I'd
swing vine to vine picking up buckets of these trippy little
shits..but I've found that's not the case. Where are they?
I live out here in Olympia. It seems i've looked everywhere,
and I just can't find any actives.

So if anyone could PM me and tell me what's up i'd be much
obliged. Thanks

went for another of my midnight jaunts and came home with about 1 pound of psilocybe cyanescens....
Isn't it December? I can't remember ever finding them this late in the year before.

They've been found as late as March before. Although that was an unusual year.
