flies in my plants
    #3417847 - 11/28/04 12:47 AM (12 years, 2 months ago)

black little flies are multiplying in 2 of my indoor plants; i am almost positive they are fruit flies. I found an old mushroom in one of them and it decomposed with the flies, and now they are all over the place. i kill like 5 of them every day but they keep multiplying. Should i keep trying to kill them melee style?  :laser: I have seen a white larva thing... I searched post at i found these results:

Used diluted h202?
Use apple cider vinegar with 2 drops of dish soap?

Will these work? any suggestions? Code:

I like neem oil. It's natural and it works. You can get neem oil concentrate at most Lowes or garden stores.

It could be fungus gnats. Are the tiny, about 1/16" to 1/8" long? You can kill them easily with safer's soap or neem. BT bacteria solution poured on the soil will get them. The larvae nibble on the roots so the bt goes down and kills them.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)
