warm moisture vs cool mist

if you had one of these for humidity rather than perilite or geolite, would a warm moisture humidifier be more favorable to the mushrooms than a cool mist? It would suggest a more "tropical" feel for them. I was just curious cuz i saw a honeywell warm moisture humidifier on sale..

if the fruiting chamber is in the ideal conditions I would not use a warm mist. The general consensus on warm mist is only if the fruiting chamber is colder than ideal and needs to be warmed. Mushrooms don't care about tropical, they care about 74 degrees, 90-99% RH, tons of O2 and some photons.

Warm mist/coolmist it all really depends on ambient air temperature as long as the resulting air temp ranges in the 70's you will be fine. Remembering 74-77F. is optimal for cubies and you'll be golden! GL
