I know that many of us are using digis from radio shack. Mine was like 40.00 but its the most accurate Ive found. It has a really long cored external temp sensor that I run to my incubator across the rooms, and very large lcd display.

Be careful when buying "cheap" hygrometers(himidity gauge). I bought one for $8 at the local pet store and it was crap. It has from 0 - 100 on the dial but it wouldnt read above 78% for some reason. I've been told by several experienced growers to get hygrometers from a cigar shop as they are usually much more accurate. Hope this helps.

The Caliber II is probably one of the most accurate, if not the, but it does not handle high humidity well. They will start to malfunction. Mine started losing segments. Fortunately, a few days of drying and it worked again.. but after a day in the PMP, segments were no longer lighting again, so obviously that isn't going to work.

I got a Radioshack wireless temp/humidity gauge. It's all-weather... It's the part that broadcasts to the base station.. but you don't need the base station to use it. It was all the buzz a few weeks ago.

Ah, here we go.

that's actually an oregon scientific model, which can also be found on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW

these will not malfuction in the constant high humidity, and will read a max of 99%
