Burnin' the 60s.
    #3412580 - 11/26/04 04:00 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

I want people to recommend me some 60s song to burn to CD. I want a definite psychedelic vibe to 'em.

Thanks!

Sorry, I have to stop you there. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is not an anagram for LSD. John got the idea for the song when his son bought back a painting he had done of his friend Lucy. She was flying in the sky surrounded by stars.

Indeed, you are correct. This is a common misconception...

This might be too obvious, but the Beatles' later stuff is about as psychedelic as you can get. "Tomorrow Never Knows", "I Am The Walrus", "Strawberry Fields", "Lucy in The Sky...." etc.
