A few concerns.

So i took all my cakes out of the fruiting chamber to dunk and roll before my first flush, and i noticed a few things that concerned me.
First off on the highest points of rhizomorphic myc i noticed a blueish green tint. Just on the tips and it hasn't really spread just a more distinguished color. Any thoughts????
Second, on another cake when transferring to the jar i had noticed what i hope is myc spreading to the layer of dry vermiculite on the bottom of the cake and even along the inside of the lid where the cake had been placed. I've heard of myc doing this on occasion but wanted a second opinion, Could it be cobweb?
If so how i distinguish between the two, dose it smell? What is H202? and is it important for D&R

#1. it seems like it is just blueing. #2. if it looks really whispy and grey then it would cobweb. and if its on dry verm your odds are a little worse for it to be myc. h2o2=peroxide and yes it is good to kill the spores of contams. almost a neccesity but can have success without if sterile.

The blue is just bluing of your mycelium. It will do that if it gets real cold or if you bump it it will bruise and turn blue. Just like your mushrooms if you cut them or squeeze them.
I would bet $20 that the white stuff in your dry verm layer is just some stray mycelium colonizing it.
I have gotten some pretty heavy colonization of my dry verm layer before. Especially the batch I forgot about and they over colonized for a long time.
I don't use H2O2 when I dunk and roll. It's not a bad idea though.
Btw: 640 wet gram harvest today!
