there is one single shroom that NEEDS to be harvested, but the rest are still growing. the growing shrooms need to grow more before harvesting. so can the one shroom that is ready to be harvested be frozen until the rest are ready? drying it would be prefered, but the means to dry aren't available, unless there is a way to dry without equipment or dissicant. please help
yup

The avg single shroom won't do much for ya, unless it was pretty big, (about 1 oz or more wet) If you don't think it was pretty close to that, I'd pick a few more and eat them, or it'd just be a waste.

Yeah.. Remember that the mushroom is approx. 90% water.. So, 10 grams wet would only be one dry gram.. You can't freeze fresh mushrooms unless you're planning on making tea.. If you thaw out a fresh frozen mushroom you'll just end up with goo..

Don't ever freeze a fresh mushroom. The water expansion will destroy cell walls and when you thaw it turns to mush and not mushroom. Dry them thoroughly before freezing.
Freeze drying, on the other hand, would work.
