Rhizome growth

Ok, so i got 36 1/2 pint jars going. They're almost completely covered, except for a few spots. I figure they'll be completely covered in 1-2 more days. The thing is this: all except for a couple cakes are covered in rhizomes rather than plain ol fluffy stuff. I remember reading that this means they're "roping" and that is good, right? Will they be more likely to start pinning and form primordia sooner? Hmm...

GIve your jars light for a few days and they will pin early!
