Hey entheo-mycophiles
What's the scoop on sclerotia? I understand it's like a safety pod for the mycelium, like that it's able to withstand harsher environments and temperature flux; so is it used as an innoculant? Does it have a high concentration of psilocybin? Does it taste 'just like chicken'? Weird little guy, this sclerotia.

People eat them. They're probably also very useful in cloning a strain. They're a more efficient form of biomass, only 70% water weight.
monkey's got some forming from mexicana mycelia on rye grass seed. They're real small right now, about the size of a pencil eraser.
