Just got home to the SF bay area
    #3403403 - 11/24/04 01:40 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

i've been checking the forecasts for the last couple weeks and there hasn't been a drop of rain in my town. do you all think this will negatively affect my hunting??

the only reason i think Cyans would be out is because lots of times mulched parklands are splashed w/ sprinklers and such. also, the nighttime brings lots of dew.

is a hunting trip to the local parts even worth it right now?

I've been hearing that SF season starts and ends later than PNW season. I've also read that the season is over, here in the PNW. However, I have been finding cyans, not large amounts. but they are fighting the elements. With these grounds, I would claim that SF is still a good place to be hunting for cyans, and you also said that the sprinklers are numerous. Good luck, dude.

yeah, that's what i've been afraid of. i was thinking that maybe some landscaped/mulched areas would be watered for the trees in the landscaping so that would be my only chance to find some cyans. well, i guess i'll give it a go, can't hurt.
