I wached Scanners the other day on an 8th of shrooms,and it Kicked ASS! I like the part at the end when the guys eyes EXPLODE out of his head! YES!!!. :)

Scanners is pretty good, although its alot funner to just eat a bunch of mushrooms, smoke alot of weed, and you and a friend then proceed to stare at each other and try and make the other persons head explode.
It's pretty fun, but if you loose, you die.

way back in 1984, i met a big american at a bar in guangzhou, china. he told me he was there filming a movie called taipan.
we had a few beers and i asked do i know from somewhere?
he replied, my name is michael ironside, im an actor i was in scanners and v.
then i clicked he is the bad guy in scanners that made the dudes head explode.
it was cool getting pissed with him and he was a fkn nice guy.
he also played the main bad guy in total recall.
once went to a rave and they had a vj who played a video loop of the head exploding scene over and over, backwards and forwards....what a guy!

If you liked scanners you'd love The Howling2 the best visuals you really get pulled into the movie. GReat shit I love it. it's not the same at all if your not shroomin when your watchin it! Check it out on shrooms make sure you get the HBO/THORN-EMI version at your local video store though. It has terrific visuals.GReat expierience

Also the midget running around in the movie is a great trip toy. It's hiilarious.The punk band in the night club scene is also great trippin material.
You gotta love the dwarf though.
