Not a question, but a lament.

I had a beautiful garden of hens/chicks and persian whites, I carefully read tons of info, ordered quality seeds, made a nice area for them amidst my other(non psychoactive)plants, just wanted to grow a few, never tried. Nice little sprouts, got to the cabbage stage. It turned like 98 degrees every day where I live, and every one of them died. I really tried to take care of them too, it sucked. I was so into them, like babies. I guess that sounds pathetic, but oh well. I had a dream about smoking (real) opium for the first time in a LONG time the other night..!

Well they were pretty early stage, just beginning to look like the cabbage stage, they were only about 2-3 inches tall....but still, it sucked!

BTW, I know you don't need lights as powerful as those to grow ganj to grow poppies indoors, but do you still need HID lighting? What's best to use, never tried these indoors?

i grew them on my window sill one year. they ran out of space tho, so they didn't flower. all natural light.
