Does anybody know which brands of morning glory seeds are or are not treated with poisons to discourage people from eating them? Any info will be helpful.

What exactly are the effects of eating morning glory seeds? How much do you take? how long does the "high" last. etc.......I'm asking because i've never heard of people eating the seeds

Which part of the seed is active, the husk or the kernel? In experimenting w/ HBR seeds, monkey used a dremel tool to extract the inside material. He figured the hard shell prob contained the chemicals that make you feel ill at your stomache. However, the inside material gave almost no buzz what-so-ever. Could the dremeling have damaged the active elements? My guess is that the active elements are also in the seed's husk/hull.

the embryo is the active part. you can germinate the seeds by placing them in a wet paper towel overnight. then the next day, the shell wil fall off easily and only the embryo will remain. this reportedly reduces alot of nausea.

the fuzzy husk/shell around the seed contains most of the nausea causing alkaloids. Just shave off the brown or white layer with a file or a knife, crush up the seeds really well and swallow. Some varieties of the seeds are very potent while others have a small amount of alkaloids and require larger amounts to feel an effect.

Tired of pimping yourself on the corner to afford spores? Well throw out that red dress and go to the FSR, for spores even you can afford.

The best way to ensure you have untreated seeds is to grow your own. Morning glory are really easy to grow, and regardless of whether your original seeds are treated or not, you can be 100% sure that the seeds they produce are untreated.
