Possible poisoning from cultivation?

If a trace amount of spores (as in, 1/8th of a mL from sporeworks) is spilled and possibly inhaled, can spore poisoning possibly occur? Because two days after inoculation, I'm feelin pretty bad. I'm gonna see where it goes, but this is the first time I'm sick in 7 years.

Yea, they will dry and the spores will be released in the air. Besides, I was just wondering. I'm fairly certain that the mushies have nothing to do with me being sick, but I haven't felt this bad in a very long time, better safe than sorry

not gonna happen my man, probably have a cold or allergies, always happens to me around this time of year.
there is that off chance that it is spores, but that comes from molds and mildews in youre house.

Everyone who grows mushrooms will get sick. Everyone who eats carrots will get sick. Heck, everyone who breathes air will die.
You have the flu or something buddy. You didn't say what your symptoms are. Whatever they are, the spores didn't do it. If you have chest pains, numbness, difficulty breathing, etc. get your butt to a doctor right now. If it feels like flu, take some pepto and ride it out.

it's flu season. i'd say it's just a coeincedence (sp.?). plus psilocybe mushroom spores are not poisinous. there are spores that can cause illness but that's not the case with psilocybes.

bud everyone who eats mushrooms is eating a hell of alot of mushroom spores. i have eaten plenty of shrooms that have started dropping. it is no problem man, whatever you have is unrelated to the spores. they are everywhere.
yet i have not snorted a line of p cub spores so maybe there is something to inhaling instead of ingestion but i really doubt it. they are not at all toxic to my knowledge.
hope you get better

You have an infection. The mushrooms didn't do it. You can't get fungus infections in your lungs. There is a small possibility of an allergic reaction, but it wouldn't make you cough up green. It's a bacteria or a virus. Haul your ass down to the doctor. Get yourself better so we can talk about mushrooms more.

There are some kinds of mushroom spores that will affect growers more than others. For instance, oyster spores sometimes cause allergic-like reactions for growers who spend a lot of time in the room while they spore.
