ph meter
    #3400155 - 11/24/04 04:23 AM (18 years, 10 days ago)

well since franks went out of business I had to resort to different peat and verm brands. I listened to agar and bought an analog PH meter. When i put it in the hydrated casing mix, it came up at 7. I then swirled a cup of hydrated lime and stuck the sensor in there, again 7. Is the PH meter broken? I don't have any baking soda, what can I use to test this and get a different reading? I bought it at home depot.

Ill pass on the golden showers and water sports today. normal piss ranges from around 4.6 (slightly acidic) to 8.0 (slightly base). All in all its pretty neutral.

I have the sime situation... analog "rapitest" ph meter is
insensitive to peat moss... I test it in grownd and it works.
