what to do with spent cakes

Af of mine has a cake that only spit out two shrooms on it's last flush. He lives in the midwest where it's currently around 80-95 degrees. Could he bury them under a deck where it stay's moist, since we've had a lot of rain. Could he dig a hole and put some damp verm in the bottom, then the cake, then more damp verm? Any other suggestions?

oh, yeah. I also dunked a cake in skim milk, and now my terrium that it's in smells real nasty, like mold. Could it be my cake?
