Does anyone have any first hand experience with Salvia Divinorum helping or worsening your depression (mild or severe)?
I believe I read someone's post elsewhere here that it helped, and now I'm curious to hear about what you all have to say.

The preparation and the ritual itself always makes me feel a lot better. Plus there's a nice afterglow

The experience itself may not be euphoric but the afterglow leaves you feeling wonderful. You just sit there thinking what the fuck just happened, and for some reason it leaves you feeling awesome for the next day or so. I've found it's more of a temporary fix for depression though, cos if you start getting depressed again soon after then you may have some serious issues you need to work out without drugs (which I had to).

once i smoked up a depressed girl on salvia and she kind of flipped out for awhile. first she became paranoid, saying that we were 'looking at her stange' and 'laughing at her', then she became angry and said we were being mean to her, then she broke down and told us how sad she felt, finally she became ashamed and left the room. this was all in the space of 10 - 15 minutes. everyone present had been ignoring her. havent seen her since

for me salvia always transforms my perspective on the various relationships i have and as well as changing my perspective on the routine in my life whatever that may be. so i think that depending on what you are depressed from (if you can anyalize that well) i would say it probably would if you are depressed from the monontony, or from the mundane tasks of life. but i think if you are depressed from your best friend killing himeself or something crazy like that then you should probably be careful with any/all drug experiences as they could easily send you down into a horrific spiral.
