FYI: Don't simmer with karo water

My friend recently did an experiment with 6 qt jars. They were all simmered whole brown rice. (just like magash's rye method except brown rice) 3 were simmered in water, 3 were simmered in karo water.(2 tsp per cup water). The 3 karo's are going real slow and have stuck the rice together(carmalized in the pc) the 3 with just water are now completely colonized and are going to be cased. Anyone ever had luck simmering with karo water using the grain rather than the rice?

man thanxs i was wondering about that now i know not to fuck with it.how long on the 3 with out karo ?for complete colonized?

I forgot to mention however that I used shroom water(karo tek) to inoculate and not spores.
