If you want people to hear it automatically when they arrive on the site, don't encode it to MP3 else it wont work, make sure its a WAV or MIDI (If possible) format, MIDI would be better. Make sure the file isn't too big and shouldn't take too long to download (when they first arrive on the site it will automatically download in the background before it plays).
Now, Firstly, so the file plays and downloads automatically you need to upload the file to your web server. Secondly, you need to add a little bit of HTML to the page you want it played on, copy this into the source just under the <body>, <bgsound SRC="(Full URL of file)" LOOP="infinite">
You will probially have some problems getting this to work (mainly because I'm no good at explaining things, plus I'm just going of the top off my head, i haven't done this in a while, but it should work) but if you need more help feel free to PM me. good luck

Also, I have a bunch of empty space because I used just Windows sound recorder and so I expanded the time so it wouldn't run out on me. I used to have Sound Forge and I used that to cut off empty parts of songs, but I deleted that. Any idea how I can easily just snip off the last part?
Thanks, Mushie Man I'll see if that works.

<bgsound> tags are IE only. so all the people who use browsers like firefox or opera cant hear the music. fuck IE & their lack of standards...
the best way to do it would be:
<.embed src="https://proxy.mind-media.com/proxy.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xxx.mp3" autostart="true" loop="true" hidden="true" "0" "0".>
(be sure to take out the periods before/after the < >)
