That is true.

Living in the moment or floating downstream is the way.

If the majority of humans aren't floating downstream, what do you say they are doing?

After all, we must go with the current of the river one way or another

The rest are clinging desperately to the sides, out of fear of upcoming rapids.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

It's great to think about how we're on a planet orbiting a sun at a ridiculous speed... we LITERALLY are no longer "here", in the spot to which we refer, by the time we are done referring to it. :smile:

Indeed.. motion is discussed relatively, and there IS no point of reference to start at.

So you might as well pick here.

So here is here. :wink:

when I calm myself down, I can remember that these are the positions I keep putting myself in;

and I am really only sensing the wake I am making in this strange fluid of brainwaves.

Letting go, I am refreshed by the effect of more stuff happenning and so moving on. The more I let go the more refreshed.

When I am tense I think I truly am this experience (and not a wake) and I get defensive about it and I regret that nothing is refreshing at all.

"The rest are clinging desperately to the sides, out of fear of upcoming rapids."

What an egocentric demonstration of self importance and superiority. How can you assume what others are thinking or doing. Indeed, you are enlightened, oh Master.

A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda
