Giving Thanks
    #3391320 - 11/20/04 10:58 PM (19 years, 4 months ago)

Well, thanksgiving is this week and it's turkey and annoying family members for us all.
I'll share a few good things that have happened recently that I'm thankful for:

- On break from school... oh yeah, those finals were hell...
- Getting to see old friends again and blazing up with them.
- Soon I am going to visit the local Zen Center for the first time with a good friend.
- Soon I will have webspace and a domain-name for my new media design business.
- My roommate gave me a fat nug for no reason just before I left on break. He's a nicer guy than I gave him credit for.
- Acid is here. I get to break my mind's hymen! Hooray! :headbang:

What are you thankful for?

thankful for existing. to breath in the air is the ultimate gift.

thankful for love, and thankful for good health.

if there is really anything we should honor on thanksgiving, it is the native americans. I am thankful their culture and presence are still somewhat existing.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Sweet or bitter, honeyed or rancid,
we are drawn to taste it all. Eat, eat!
The self looks on unconcerned,
content to observe the feast.
