Would they work?

I picked some mushrooms at the end of July, and stashed them in a spot and forgot about them. I found them this week and was wondering if they would be potent enough for a good trip? I think i got about 5-6.5 grams dry. They have been stored in a plastic bag and in the dark. The species is psilocybe cubensis if that helps. Thanks

yeah, if they are cubes and they are dry then they'll do you fine

How many should i eat? all of them? I just want a level 3 maybe level 4 trip. I will be at home in my room during the trip probably just listening to music. Thanks

I keep seeing posts here saying about 3 grams is sufficient. Personally, I'd eat them all. Depends on your experience with tripping. It sounds like you've tripped at least in the last 4 months, so I think you'll do ok with eating them all. But only you can decide. Maybe eat 4 grams, wait an hour and see how it's going, then decide on the rest? That would probably be best to be safe.

Yeah ive tripped 4 times since June. 3 of those time have been bad trips (i guess my mind doesnt like new environemnts while tripping, and my only good trip was alone). I ate a gram of mushrooms that were picked on the same day from the same field as this and i just felt stoned. So you think about 4 grams would get me to where i want to be and would be controllable if i had a bad trip?

Not knowing anything about you, that's hard to say. I worry about giving people advice on dosing. The shroomery has a calculator to determine what's a good dose for you. Maybe use that? http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/12195

If you want a level 4 I would eat 5 grams or so. That's just me though.
