the two new albums coming out in january are the best yet
they are up if you know where to look for them, and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn is easily one of the best records to come out in years.
Connor always is amazing, but he's really out done him self this time

Bright Eyes can be pretty cool, I'm not huge on that sort of music, but I own Lifted and Fevers and Mirrors. I spin them whenever I'm in my emo mood, everyone has those moments. I'll definately check out the new albums, thanks for the heads up.

well, bright eyes isn't a stereotypical "emo" band. i like the music because i enjoy the music and because of the lyrics. fevers and mirrors is my favorite album. :o

Accually i beleive that bright eyes is one of the pioneers to Emotional music. I do beleive he is different in the sense that he can have about 10 different instruments going on at once. Some people dont like that but i do. His voice is different, but peopel forget it portrays alot of emotion in itself. Alot of people dont like his voice. but he is what pioneered Emotional Music. Yes, Conor Oberst also writes very good lyrics.

"emotional" music? pioneer?

he is a pioneer of a beautiful sound, and his lyrics speak his truth wonderfully...

but isnt all music emotional?

ever listen to zepplin? or bach?

now bach, hes a pioneer of some emotional music!!

emo is the lamest term ever, and it makes people shy away from bands that have been fitted with it.

bright eyes, is good by the way...
