Azure Mycological Survey (Plenty of Pics)
    #3387490 - 11/20/04 03:49 AM (13 years, 6 days ago)

For my 1337 post I thought I would show you kind folks what was found in the Astoria/Hammond area of Oregon this past week.

This first one shows why they are called azures, look at all that blue on the stems and caps!  The purple spores showed up amazingly with the flash as well.

Some mycoporn, look at those sexy nipples!  They look like flying saucers sent to take some nice people on a journey into the stars!

And finally, a little drying footage.

I hope that you enjoyed the survey!   :mushroom2:

Update us after you eat them on how the trip was. I picked some azures a week ago and took them yesterday and the trip was really strange. I took 5 medium sized dried ones. I had absolutely no visuals besides everything being colorful and twinkly, but had an insanely nice body high and movement was strange. Did I do something wrong to lose whatever chemical gives the most visuals?

Nice load!

I live right in the middle of the area you named, are you hunting along the dunes? I have had really shitty luck this year, not a single azure, or cyan for that matter.

Could you just point out the basic type of area to look in, like dune grasses, or just along the pacific. . .

Not intended to take away from your nice post, but you obviosly know what your doing, and I don't.

Thanks anyways

I can give you two hints:

Azures mycelium loves wood.
Sand on azures is a common occurence.
