If the spore print is fresh then you can innoculate immediately. If the spore print has dried out you can wait a day or so so they absorb more moisture. Even if you were to innoculate really dry spores they would germinate but it might lenghten your colonization time.

Psilocyber's syringe tek suggests waiting at least 12 hours to give the spores a chance to rehydrate. Doing it to soon can cause slow or no germination. Better to wait a little longer so it will take less time germinating.
