What to do....

What should Spanky do when all of his jars are colonized, but 2 of them only have a little patch? Would any of you recommend digging out the mycelium tissue and tossing it in some honey water? If Spanky does use honey water....after the water gets mycelium growth, does he just suck it all up in a syringe, and innoculate a whole other jar, or just case it? Will honey water fully colonize with no other substrate?

Well the quote actually goes:
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death. Life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves...Here's Tom with the weather."
But anyway...what Spanky really wanted to know was, would the mycelium grow IN the honey water, or would he suck up the newly colonized mycelium in the water, and inject that into a substrate? Anyone experienced with the honey water tek?

I know this quote from a psy-trance track called Dr. Hoffman but the sample ends before 'Here's Tom with the weather' ha ha so it's from a fake news bulletin, where was it originally recorded from? About the honey water you innoculate it with spores and wait until you see some mycelium in the mix and you use that to innoculate grain or whatever. The honewater -according to the 'tek' I read- is supposed to be @ 5% honey 95% h2o so I doubt a mycelium could get all that robust from this solution. May things work out for Spanky

If you did it under sterile conditions you could transfer your little patch of mycelium into the honey water with success. STERILE CONDITIONS.
The mycelium will grow pretty well in the honey water, it won't fully colonize it, because it would run out of nutrients before that, but after you see large chunks of mycelium just shake it really hard and suck up the little tiny pieces of mycelium and honey/water into a syringe and innoculate some jars with it. The whole process takes between 1 and 2 weeks.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud, Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed.
