when using say a fruiting chamber that is of a smaller size, and you don't want to do the pmp.is a ultra sonic which i have, going to be enough humidity/ air exchange for a2.6 gallon area cylinder shaped.
my worries are how to control over saturation of casings. fresh air exchange. proper rh. just basic needs for my project.
a.has a ultra with a dial which controls minimum to maximum output on mist.same goes for humidity.
will be using a 2to 3 inch diameter like hose around a foot to 2 feet to connect the chamber.it will be positioned form the top going down into the chamber.. thinking that maybe i should some how spread out the mist so it circulates maybe?

not too sure on this topic, but i know that an ultrasonic is only used for about 10 - 15 minutes every 2 hours in a martha setup.
Personally, im a fan of the PMP. it cost about $20 to setup and it works wonders.
Pump - $10 (walmart) Hoses - $2 for 25 ft (Walmart) 10" Airstone(x2) - $10 for 2(walmart)
Total - $22
It keeps the RH up (partnered with perilite) and it allows for airflow, so basically you just sit back and watch these badboys grow.

PMP is the way to go. Ive made some pretty elaborate ones costing over 100.00. But they are so badass.
Dual-Dual pumps with 4 bubble wands. 100 Gallon containers. Enough geolite to cover most of America...
Installed/mounted 20 watt flourescent lights on a digitally controlled timer, that displays Humidity/temperature on two LCD screens external to the PMP...
And a mounted wireless web cam with night vision to monitor growth with stop/start photography for accelerated viewing, which sends its signal to my comp upstairs...
Beautiful technology...

i might be wrong but the ultra sonic wil no provide enough fae. the cool mist would be better if it was going to be used by it self becuase it can be run 24/7 providing good air exchange but then the rh might not be up but with a small enclosoure its should work.

yes, ultra sonic = humidity only (takes place of misting) cool mist does the oxygen exchange along with most of the humidity.
