How does one differentiate between which laws god made and those that are man made?
And since you brought it up, how do you define 'god' and effectively determine the authenticity of what certain cultures are promoting in it's name?

Would you atleast agree with the fact that any religion or culture that inflicts pain, fear and/or suffering on it's own people as a means of keeping them in line (especially if they promote these things as being in the name of a deity where somewhere down the line they decided to shape how people to percieve this said 'god') is nothing short of absurd?
What ever happened to the idea of keeping religion out of politics?

Islam is a system of mercy and guidance, not "pain and fear". What I fear is unbelief. Only unbelief has brought me pain and fear. Islam has brought me true meaning in this life.
And no, I do not believe that the Way of God should be seperated from politics. I believe people should be subjected to God's Laws whether they believe in Him or not.

What if I told you that I talked to God the other day, who for the record at it's source is neither He nor She, and told me that it doesn't matter which religion a person perscribes to if any, they are all in essense trying to decypher the same thing..and quite frankly alot of them seem rather confused.
To blindly follow any religion that cannot accept the faith and belief of another for any reason - is to subject ones self to arrogance.

All religions are essentially paths to God - however, God does not speak to you. He may reveal Himself to you as He does with mystics, but He only has intercourse with language trough Prophets that offer a manifestation; be it the Christ-man, or the Recitation (Qur'an). God bless.

I don't think you have any understanding of god, but have allowed a parasitic notion to occupy your mind. Rather than worrying about whether other people are following Gods law, you should doing what it takes to realize your own error.

Christian countries have their own affairs, it is not the business of Muslims. However, Islamic countries are to be rules by the standard set by the God, which is Shariah - which provides spiritual and moral protection for a society.
