Would mixing backing soda with substrate and casting reduce the chances of contamination with out restricting growth?.

I think it would throw off the pH too much.

It would probably ward of contamination, but ward off all other growth at the same time.

4 out of 5 inmates agree.  The FSR is better than being raped by your overweight roomate!;)
