im a beginer with an unsteady hand - my first jar (of v and br) i inoculized with approx 5cc or so of the spores (again the unsteady hand) and that was just at one site.
i again over did it on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th sites (not quite so much though) and i accidentally did it to my second and 3rd jars too. by the time thte 4,5 and 6th jar i had the hang of it and those jars seem to be growing the mycelium fine but nothing from my first 3 jars how much longer should i wait? (its been about 8 days) before i scrap them and mix up a new batch of b.r and v ?

When jars stall on me, I dont like stressing about them, or constantly checking. I just take those late bloomers out and put them in a cardboard box, throw them in a dark/warm closet and check up on them in 4-5 day intervals. Give me more space in my incubator for more inoculated jars. And is always a nice surprise to look into a box and find a nice 5 day growth of mycelium engulfing the jar.

yep patience is an important part of this procedure... as long as you dont see any discoloration (green / blue) you shoudl be fine, just wait it out.
