perlite, should i sterilize it? if so how?

i brought my perlite bag at a hydroponics store and as i grabed it a little dust squeezed out. the guy said they all do that. so obviously there is some tiny hole in the bag. i read that perlite doesnt need to be sterilized fresh out of the bag but since it has a hole i am concerned. if u think i should sterilize it how should i do it. i dont have a pc and please dont tell me to get one...i will some day but its not an option now.

perlite harbours no contams, it will be fine. If your worried you can either boil or PC for 1/2 hour :shrug:

I'm paranoid so I threw mine in the oven for 2 hours @450 degrees.
