Less verm in casing!

Would less verm, like say the 70% peat 30% verm, give a better structure for the mycelium 2 grow???
I would say that the 50/50 I use gives more shrooms to the side of the casings. Heard that only peat and lime gave a good casing layer 2, if you water enough!
Anyone?
