I have these two lights that look like this:



I dont know what to plug them into. Should I take them to home depot and ask the morons who "work" there what to plug them into?

The box says "Lucas H4
Quartz
Halogen
H4
high-...(tape is covering this part)...eam"

Can I use these as grow lights?

Thanks, that's what I really wanted to know. How do I adapt this headlight to a wall socket?

Perhaps someone knows if it will be so hot that it won't be feasable to use it as a grow light...

I think you can buy adaptors for those or maybe it is made to use with a halogen lamp?

I believe its a replacement bulb for a car headlight.

Not sure about adapters.

Yes, it is definately a head lamp. Tho it would make a good growing light, it runs on 12 v. dc, you may be able to find an adapter, but i think you would come out better to get a grow light. :grin:

golgi is right, they're car lights and halogen won't grow shit.
