fuzzy pinning mushrooms?
    #3374926 - 11/17/04 05:36 PM (12 years, 5 months ago)

hey im in the middle of a second flush of PES Hawaiian and after cleaning off the grow kit (please dont give me shit about a grow kit i wanted to try this because its my first grow, trust me next time im going PF Tek) i dunked it as the directions told me to.  During the first flush, the little pinning mushrooms didnt have white fuzz on them, and now some of them do.  I've never seen cobweb mold, but is it possible that i mightve infected the kit, or is it usual to have some mycelium on the pins?

Thanks, Brian :mushroom2:

During pin formation give them at least 12on/12off then cut them back to around 6/18. Also it is possible that your kit got contam'd but if it looks like mycelia, it is very common to have fuzzy mycelia on shrooms due to a high RH, hawksapprentice;). Cobweb mold is more greyish than mycelia plus it just has a different uh...texture maybe. Look at some contam pics in the gallery.
