Some worms have teeth made from goethite, a hydrated iron oxide which is hard and can be magnetized.

I have always taught my children that it is cruel to kill a worm to catch a fish.

I actually use to catch catfish with my bare heands when i was a kid,. There was a small man made two foot high dam at Devil's lake State Park where my grandparents had a summer cabin when I was a kid and the the catfush were jumjpin all the time.

Their were schools of them.

And I once caught a Talapia at Ewa Beach on Oahu in Hawaii. A foot and a half long one. His gills sliced my hand with a deep cut.

But I am allergic to seafood, so I do not fish. Use to take my kids fishing.

But agian, If you can't catch them without kiloing other living things then don't.

mj

btw.. Last week I actually saved the life of a worm who managed to dig himself a path onto a sidewalk and was squiggling all over,
Als he knew nothing od sidewalks but is great at digging burrows through mother earth.

A true son of the eath and hero to other worms.

I once built a huge trough thing in my basement and tried breeding worms for fishing...worked great till the acidity got too high and the worms decided to leave!
10,000+ worms all over my basement!
AIUGHHHH!!!!
Tried crickets too...that sucked as well It was easy to raise them but the strange smell and all the noise!
Chirp....Chirp.....Chirp
I couldn't stand it more than 2 months.
I've done a lot of stupid stuff I guess.
