ok folks, i got myself a copy of the promo for the new shpongle album, "tales of the inexpressable". all i can say is that it's better than the first, and the first album was a freakin' masterpiece. i'd say this album is a bit more melodic and fun....so giddy up, psychedelic world music for all. highly, HIGHLY recommended. due out early july i believe.... keep up on: htpp://www.shpongle.com

I can't wait... Are you shpongled is one of my all time classic albums. Behind closed eyelids is simply the most amazing track I've ever heard. Have you got the remixes? Very deep psy-trance. Simply stunning.
Dunno if you've heard these, but if not then check out the infinite excursions series on tip Records, and Raja Ram's 'Spaceships of the imagination' also on Tip (Tip world, I think they're called now). Oh yeah, and also Eclipse - Journey of permenance and impermenance (Not sure what record label). If you're into shpongle, you'll love these....

yeah, i have IE 2 and 3, never got the first one. "spaceships of..." is a great mix! great choice of psy ambient from raja...nice to get if you don't want to buy a lot of music. great old tip tunes, shpongle, yeti tracks, etc. eclipse came out on twisted records (simon posfords label, the man behind shpongle's programming)

You're into harder psy-trance too? Have you heard any of these? Etnica - Nitrox, Dark Soho - Sun Spot, Wizzy Noise - Cybermancy, and everything ever done by Talamasca and GMS. Definately worth checking out. Also got the new infected mushroom album BP Empire. I wasn't particularly impressed with it, there's some good tracks, but overall it's sounding pretty commercial...
I'm just starting to get back into psy-trance a break of a year of so :)

nitrox RULES. pure party music :) i just ordered it, should be here today (along with the new shakta album). i sampled the mp3's and decided it was a must have (i love being able to sample like that!) i like the others you mentioned too, but the music i'm into now consists of necton (b12 cocktail really impresses me), ticon (listening to their new album now), atmos (headcleaner, not his new stuff)....as for older stuff, anything by simon posford. he's what got me into all this stuff, anyway :) cosmosis, tip, total eclipse...that sort of thing...
i'm also into psy ambient (as you could tell), and intelligent drum&bass seems really intriguing; i just bought ltj bukems producer01 album not too long ago....great relaxation music....
