swim has two fluorescent light fixtures hanging above her casings fruiting chamber. How high above the casings terrarium should she put the lamps (6inches? 3 feet?) ?
also, does light (excessive) reduce the potency of the mushroom? swim (as well as swims friends) recently grew and ingested several grams of dried product, her and her friends did not trip. Could this be because of her fixtures? she has them about 2 feet above the casing on a 12/12 timer.

thanks in advance

So how high should she put her lamps or does it not matter?
and what other factors affect potency? is there something swim can do to increase the potency of her mushrooms?

Just put it at the top of your terrarium, it shouldn't matter. As for increasing potency, if there just P cubenis then I dont think you can increase the potency, just grow a different strain if you want.

how would swim know if there is too much/too little light and needs to be adjusted?
what is optimum for pinning and for fruiting?
